    A Great Read

    Excellent writing, Excellent story. Although the book is the first part of a trilogy it makes a fine stand alone opener and encourages the reader to follow the rest of the series. The knowledge displayed of life in the outer Hebrides is superb and historically the story is accurate but mostly it is a fine mystery story that grips from start to finish.
