These Panasonic units went out of production quite a number of years ago so it is rare to come across a source whose stock is not just described as 'new' but genuinely is as near to coming fresh from the factory as you could possibly expect. They are far from cheap however and you need to weigh up the merits. The old adage 'You get what you pay for' definitely applies! Excellent communication and quick dispatch, with over-wrapping to protect the box. All in all, a pleasure to buy, thank you.

    Lots of features vfm

    Great product with quality sound. It has a built in radio so no need to have the TV on. plays all formats of CD and dvd or from a usb or its internal hdd. Music can be ripped from CD and stored on the hdd to be played directly through its jukebox feature. You can connect to a pc or even print photos from it.. Or just record or chase live TV. Upscales dvd so great quality playback.

    Pioneer DVR LX60 Multiregion

    Without doubt one of the best-if not the best machines on the market-and I have been thro' a few.Although not really interested in it's media capabilities(many will be)as a high performance recording machine it delivers -in spades. If you are lucky enough to stretch to one I suggest that you -for starters look at your cabling -in particular HDMI connection -settle for nothing less than Q.E.D or Chord and IXOS or Q.E.D squart for TV connection.The difference is significant with this machine -not so much so with lesser machines(including earlier Pioneers).On HDMI output through a Pioneer Plasma on 1125i setting the picture matches -and slightly improves on noise- that from the component output via a DVDO HD scaler(1080i) On other fronts the LX60 is refreshingly quiet -fan noise not yet ...

    pioneer dvr lx60

    Overall another good DVD recorder from pioneer.Picture quality is excellent and most control features you can follow after time with the machine.The mark down for me was the poor plastic front facia,unlike pioneer in the past.Also I think the remote is too big and clumsy,not sharp and friendly like in the past.
