    A vivid tale of resilience and sorrow.

    This heart breaking tale is told in the voice and written words of the protagonist. The reader struggles trying to cypher the meaning and content of Precious's journal. The language is alarming, but adds to the brutal conditions of this poor teenager who is the victim of sexual abuse from both parents. It is a vivid tale of resilience and sorrow.
