  • Ray Harryhausen by Harryhausen & Dalton

Harryhausen is one of the authors and it's a treat to read about such groundbreaking animation by its creator, especially when he is so eloquent. There are many gorgeous and rare photos of Harryhausen's models and model-making process. He retained many original sculptures and they are featured here. It's a very comprehensive book and an asset to the library of anyone, but particularly film and animation buffs.

  • Just Outstanding

Not just the content of the book itself. I expected that to be phenomenal, being a long time Harryhausen fan, and it is. Others have critiqued some of the pictures were postage stamp size. They're really not. Smal,l but not that small. I highly recommend it.
