Forget aerosols and gels, get back to a real shave using brush and soap stick. These are the real deal.Very easy to use, basically rub it on face after dipping it in warm water, then I lather up using a shaving brush. Leaves your skin very smooth. Great value for money which in turn will save you a small fortune.

Excellent shaving soap, it seems to work best with the stick rubbed onto a wet beard, then lathered up with a boar bristle brush. Yields vast quantities of foam and is very long-lasting. It's perhaps not as lubricating as the now-defunct Palmolive stick, but it does provide for a very close shave. In terms of performance, I'd say it's indistinguishable from Arko, but smells more like a shaving soap (with a rose scent), rather than Arko's toilet cleaner aroma.

Fantastic soap i would say one of the best ,i have soaps costing five times this with poorer performance , this is my new go to soap a Turkish style tallow based(animal fat) soap smells better than ako but shaves just as good I would recommend a good brush and a face lather (no bowl needed) just rub soap in face and lather with a damp bush .

I hate shaving - and have done for 40 years - but, this soap really makes a difference. Apart from the fresh deep scent (that'll make your bathroom a delight to enter) it makes a thick, creamy softening lather that seems to make the razor glide closer and almost stick to your skin till the job's been done. I've never written a review on here before, but felt compelled to, on this occasion.
