About this product

Product Information

Murder is in the air with this two-pack of adventures based on the classic stories of mystery writer Agatha Christie.AND THEN THERE WERE NONE In this classic story, 10 people each with something to hide and something to fear are invited to a lonely mansion on Shipwreck Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. On the island, they are cut off from everything but each other and the inescapable shadows of their own past lives. One by one, the guests share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts. And one by one, they die...MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Staying true to the novel, players will step on to the lavish, richly appointed train that departs Istanbul hurtling toward Paris. The train is filled with passengers, one of whom is the high profile Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. A passenger recognizes him, asks for protection, but is turned down. The next day that individual is found dead. Players take on the role of Antoinette Marceau, a new character, who works alongside Poirot to investigate the savage murder. With a train filled of suspects, Antoinette will need every tip that she can garner from Poirot in order to pinpoint the killer.

Tape did end up having a little mold on it. I alerted the seller to this and he quickly apologized, saying if he had noticed, they never would have sent it. Quickly knocked off 50% of what I paid, so overall a good experience.

  • Agatha Christie And Then There Were None

We are a HUGE fan of mysteries and decided to try the Agatha Christie PC games while waiting for the new Nancy Drew to come out. If we hadn't already played the games by Her Interactive, we probably would have been more excited about this one. Don't get us wrong, this is still a good game (VERY challenging), but some parts are so difficult to figure out that the kids quit playing and left it up to the parents to figure out. Without any message boards to rely on for free help, we were frustrated as well until we stumbled across a website that some soul put on the internet to help us that are, how shall we say this..."PC game challenged". The graphics are of a slightly less caliber compared to the Her Interactive games but we weren't bothered by this. There aren't any "games or puzzles" ...

  • Murder on the Orient Express is Better

There were two games in this pack, which I bought used: "And Then There Were None," and "Murder on the Orient Express." I have read both Agatha Christie novels they were based on but didn't remember enough of the endings to worry about the games spoiling anything. I actually got frustrated with "And Then There Were None" because at one point I honestly could not figure out how to maneuver over to examine something a walkthrough said was necessary, plus the cut scenes kept stuttering and stalling. I think the early seascape and mountain scenery were pretty, as well as the mansion interiors. One character reminded me of a friend's barber. But "Murder on the Orient Express" was intriguing and gorgeous when it came to graphics, including train interiors and outdoor winter scenes. I thought the ...

  • Two great games for the price of one!

I love computer mystery games and have played all the Law & Order and Nancy Drew games. While waiting for the next Nancy Drew game to come out, I decided to try Agatha Christie games to see if I like them as well. The verdict--I love them! This is the first two Agatha Christie games in one box, which means you get them for the price of one--always a plus when buying computer games. In each game, you get to snoop in people's stuff, explore different rooms, and solve puzzles. Both games are really fun, and I only have one real complaint. Some of the puzzles (especially one in the second game, Murder on the Orient Express) are complicated enough that I'm not sure I would've figured them out without help. The good news is that if you just do a search on the internet with the game title, ...

  • Who dunnit, that is the question? Harder than she looks this one.

This is a stinker if you don't know some of the tricks of the format. Lots of clues and lots of blind alleys. I have enjoyed playing the game since it challenges the logic of detective inquiry. I recommend it.
