A good addition to any heavy metal/hard rock collection
When I discovered COC, I wasn't sure what to expect. I heard a couple of their songs, and thought they were definitely interesting- although, not necessarily fantastic. However, after buying one of their albums (America's Volume Dealer), I was instantly hooked. Corrosion of Conformity is all-American, pure hard rock and heavy metal! As a result, I became compelled to compete my COC collection. That is when I came upon their Extended Versions CD. Extended Versions is not really "extended versions", but rather a recording of a live performance. COC live, however, does not deviate from the musical superiority established by their earlier albums- this album rocks! It starts out by an introductory instrumental song called 'These Shrouded Temples'.... while this particular song is not much, the ... When I discovered COC, I wasn't sure what to expect. The CD makes you feel like you are part of an awesome concert, which is a cool experience in itself Although I would recommend listeners to check out the studio versions of the songs on this album first, I do think this is a great collection of live recordings of impressive songs to add to any heavy metal or hard rock collection.
