If you compare the cost of this with what you can pay new, it really was in the realm of "its worth a punt on quality, no great loss if its nbg". But its an excellent product, more than pleased (no diff from a monitor I paid a multiple of this price for new, which has just turned its toes up - I could buy a succession of these for the same price I paid for that). Refurb all the way for me.

They admit they should have advised me thay my ordered machine was out of stock and not just sent an alternative. Also, they offered a free return label. However, I accepted a small financial gesture of good will to keep the machine as I had already set up the new machine and disposed of the packaging. So far I am pleased with the machine I received.
