When I first headphone sampled her 'Supernatural' album online the year it came out, I knew right then and there that it just wasn't worth picking up. Matter of fact, if not for the epic hit ballad I'm Kissing You (one of Des'ree's best songs ever) I would've considered this the creative "low point" of her entire recording career. Guess that's what the public wanted at the time because 'Supernatural' managed to come up roses for Des'ree in terms of album sales (at least in Europe). i bought this cd because i wanted the song "i'm kissing you". i heard the song on a youtube video and loved it. this song is my favorite on the cd but the other songs are good too. des'ree is not well known in the united states so it was good to find something different to listen to.
This is a bit of a disappointment, given her vocal talent and the quality of her previous CD. Her faux British accent is not as enchanting, nor is there much unique here.
