"Let's go down the Winchester"
British comedy zombie spoof starring Simon Pegg. His life is at a crossroads and everything seems to be going wrong for him, until zombies try to take over the earth and well things start to pick up ! He becomes the hero, alpha male and all round good guy as he tries to save his Mom, step dad, ex-girlfriend, best mate etc from the dead slow un-dead. There are some very funny moments along the way, a real must see, in fact it's hard to miss as it seems to be on TV at least every month ! Shaun of the dead
Shaun of the dead is one of the best british films i have seen for along time. The direction, acting, script and production are of the highest order. If you like the zombie genre and have a taste for slapstick tongue in cheek comedy then this is the right film for you. I belive that although this film would not win oscars and it is not going to appear in the all time top 100 it does entertain and deserves cult status. In short it may not be everybodys cup of tea and if you dont like zombie films or the new wave of english comedy then it will not appeal, however if you are slightly curious that this may be for you then i would urge you strongly to give it a go. If you like this then try Hot Fuzz another quality film from the same team.Shaun of the dead is one of the best british films i have seen for along time.
