We ordered this to go with the rack we purchased from Halfords as the description said we would need these to fit to our hatchback. After they arrived we realised we didn’t really need them and could have managed without. However we are using them now as we have them and it does I suppose make it more fiddly for someone to steal the bike rack whilst we’re off cycling…!! Also less points that could potentially get scratched. Check you actually need one before you buy. I understand how works. I’m a girl, it’s harder to figure how it goes on my car eg how high up for the steadiest fitting. My first carrier ever. There isn’t a video on the internet to help either and I can’t write the problem Down but I’m sure the next time I try I’ll manage.
