Switchfoot's frontman Jon Foreman wraps up his solo project with this couple of acoustic EPs: Spring & Summer. Fans who already bought Fall & Winter shouldn't be disapointed at all, since Jon's tired vocals continue to soar over not-so-popular-or-common-yet-mindblowing lyrics, which in fact are astonishingly real, personal and intimate. These new EPs bring a little joy and excitement that couldn't be found on Foreman's previous works, but still the deepness of the melodies builds an amazing peacefull place to rest your ears. Sure, nothing is perfect; after FOUR acoustic EPs, one could say Jon starts to get a little repetitive here and there... but who cares?! As long as he keeps doing this kinda stuff, it doesn't matter if it looks like something he has already done in the past. I mean, if it's GOOD, than why should it change?! Really, you should buy these ones. Relateds: Switchfoot, Over the Rhine, Bethany Dillon, Jack Johnson, Dashboard Confessional, The innocence mission, etc.Read full review

"Spring and Summer" are just as good as Jon Foreman's "Fall and Winter" EPs. Jon Foreman has some very great insight. I have always had a hard time listening to Christian music as it just never seemed to hit home with me but this album has finally given me what I was looking for in Christian music from the very beginning. God bless you Mr. Foreman.
