Delivery was speedy - really rather impressive. Build quality seems good, and it was easy to assemble. The height adjustment is really easy, but adjusting the blade gap is NOT. You need to spend quite a bit of time experimenting with the adjustment screws, and it is wise to be nervous, as you are close to those rather sharp, rotaty blades. That aspect of the design is NOT user-friendly. Otherwise it works, and it cuts fairly well, with the following reservations: (1) The cuttings bin juts out a long way in front, and is very loose fitting. This means that when you come to the edge of the lawn, and come up against any border plants, the bin invariably comes off. The only way to resolve this problem is to leave the edges until last, and then remove the bin when you cut - not ideal, as it sprays clippings all over your borders; (2) It is exceptionally wide as a mower. Clearly, there are positives to this, BUT if you are mowing a lawn which has any angles or curves or tight corners, this makes it really a bit of a palaver to cut. I now dread cutting the back lawn which is round - whereas the front lawn is, comparatively, a doddle. Overall, I think it an effective tool for the job, and I am conscious that it is making me work which I guess is a good thing. I have just found that I cannot *just* go out and mow the lawn, I have to think out in advance, how I'm going to cut different areas, and which angle I will approach things at. And there's a lot of hand-shearing required afterwards! If they found a way of putting the bin on the back end, life would be an awful lot easier.Read full review

But assembly instructions for handle not great. And setting the blades to cut is a fritemare, and the instructions don't make it clear that to set blades there are 6 screws/nuts to turn each tyme to make a change - bad design...zzzz

Assembly was very easy. It worked well , very broad cut. I thought hand-mower =hard to push; but no.It is easy for a reasonably fit large bloke to do a flat lawn of 200square metres. If you ever take exercise you may as well cut the lawn with this device. Probably will be harder work if the grass is allowed to get long and you try to cut it short in one pass. Leather gloves reduced the feeling of pummeled hands.

Good quality and easy to assemble, wide cut and not too heavy. Would have preferred slightly lower cut setting. Diagrams in Operator's Manual were not very clear and Figures 8 & 9 did not have any text to explain fitting of box and cover. Also Webb logo had lost its protective cover and therefore did not stick to metal.

I needed a cylinder mower as my two rotary mowers, petrol and electric did not cut the grass the way I wanted. I also wanted to be free of cables and petrol. This 18" Webb is contact-less which means the cylinder does not make contact with the cutting blade thus making for a much easier push. It is also very well made and solid, nothing flimsy about it which does make it a little heavier than expected. Overall a great mower.
