This was bought for use with Linux operating system. Good quality product and printing. Wi-Fi for printing works fine. Manual scan/copy at machine works fine too. But couldn't get Simple Scan to find scanner using Wi-Fi..

Always wanted To buy another Brother printer due to low cost supplies not a rip off and very reliable but wifi set up complicated and still not set up with scanner, shame it’s not plug in and print, shame I cannot recommend it to my family members also looking to buy. They have no chance setting it up.

Brilliant printer fast and good quality. Only downside is on/off button won't switch printer off so have to switch off at mains socket. Exchanged 1st printer with same problem but replacement also has same fault. Great over WiFi, print and scans fast. Would have given 5* apart from button fault. Can recommend

Excellent print quality and quiet in operation.I was surprised at how affordable the laser toner cartridges were.The only small annoying fact was that you had to close the paper carrier after use if you are using it in a small space.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
