The part itself is well made- quality... However the connection to the distributer pick up end plug is wired around the wrong way (see pic versus replacement old wires). This means when plugged in the timing may cause timing problems as reversed the wiring signal to the amplifier . I will be re wiring the distributer end just so that the car works. Only worth noting in case someone else encounters similar- its probably easy fixed however likely a manufacturing issue. See 1st picture this plug.

The wiper switch supplied to me didn’t work properly. I compared the wiring to the original one, I discovered two wires were connected to the wrong pins. I raised this with British Auto and supplied photos of the original wiring at the plug end , and the new switch at the plug end, I received a reply that indeed the item I have is not wired to the specifications required and that they would check their stock, that was the last I heard until I raised a complaint with eBay. We apologised for the error with this wiring. We have sent the images to our workshop and we responded to say we can accept it back for a refund. We have fully communicated with the customer.
