bought this to replace my corded unbranded saw. This is heavier but nicer to use. Its got loads of grunt and being cordless you don't have to be mindful of the cable..eats batteries though when using on tough materials or for extended periods of time (15 toi 2o minutes) even 5AH ones...but this is no trouble if you have spares charging and chraged..

I used to use an alligator saw to cut up pallets, the blades would go blunt if it hit a nail. This saw blades on the Reciprocating saw keep going even with cheap blades. The alligator saw was 240v so having a fast cutting battery saw make a big deference.
