The book is about rendering the figure in watercolor and it has six parts: 1. Contour and gesture Drawing; 2 Painting Techniques and color; 3 From Silhouette to Three-dimensional form; 4 Facial Features; 5 Figure painting demonstrations; 6 Composing and designing figure paintings. So, it is very complete, very welll written and the paintings are superbe, and the exercises easy to follow. Good results, though, need lots of pratice :). What I like the most is the freedom and looseness, but pay attention: Like Richard Schmid use to say, and Iquote, “Looseness should describe how a painting looks, not how it was done.”.The book is about rendering the figure in watercolor and it has six parts: 1.
