The Final Pantera Studio Album
The final Pantera studio album is somewhat bittersweet. Positively, it is another prime example of the musical songwriting skills and guitar prowess of Dimebag Darrell, something to be cherished in light of his passing not too long afterward. On the heels of the massively groundbreaking metal of their previous album, "The Great Southern Trendkill," this album seems a bit weaker overall, with singer Phil Anselmo having a little too much fun being "Phil Anselmo." But Pantera is Pantera and as far as metal records go, the band never released a bad one during their tenure. Side note and of no consequence to the music: one of the worst album covers I've ever seen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
