Fitted within 15 minutes of arriving & the best bit is that if you have fixed your doorbell originally to a hard surface, the screw position holes on the solar plate fit perfectly, so there is no further drilling required. The replacement fixing screws that attach the doorbell to the solar plate are included. All in all 100% rating for Value, Delivery and ease of fitting.

The device uses intelligent charging sland limits the change to 90% to preserve battery life. When I put it up the battery was at 87% it has charged it to 90% and this will be a great help in keeping the battery charged. Vendor dispatched the item very quickly. I am very happy with my purchase.

On sunny days my ring gets direct sun all morning and I have not noticed any significant fall in the battery discharge rate. A good idea that just doesn’t work. I would not buy again.
