Detailing hunts in such varied locales as ranches in northern Alberta, farm lands in southern Illinois, the mountains of Idaho and clover fields of Alabama, Bushman tells not only of trophy-sized bucks he has taken, but also of monster bucks by his young son and by Matthew, a seriously ill 11-year-old boy whom Jackie took on the hunt of a lifetime.Most deer taken in these hunts were shot with rifles, although muzzleloaders and shotguns were used for a few of them.
