    One of the best!

    Even though this book has been out of print for a while, it was great to be able to find copies in great condition at a great price. I ended up buying three of them... one for myself and two for family members. Drawings are clear and easy to follow. Also like that the author provides good guidance on the use of particular knots. I have a lot of knot books and this is probably the most concise when it comes to fishing.

    fishing knots

    I was first impressed with the history explained of each knot. Then with the number of knots included. Each knot is drawn progressively so it's made easy to copy. The suggestion of using different colored cords to tie together so you can see which line is where in the finished knot was a simple but invaluable method. This book goes beyond what I expected and would help anybody, even people who don't fish!
