    The Western Digital HDDs arrived well-packaged. The drive was dated December 2012, but that's expected for the WD2003FYYS era model. The real test was to ensure it was a zero hour (unused) drive. CrystalDiskInfo verified 0 hours on the new drive. Ran it for the first 60 hours without issue. See image results. I am very happy the seller did indeed ship an unused drive with zero hours. Excellent quality item. Great value. Thank you!

    Fast Enough For Any Normal Use PC And 8TB Is A Fantastic Size For All Your Files

    This SATA Disk works well and is fast despite only being 5400rpm. As long as you use a SATA3 cable you will get a fast transfer writing/reading speed. If the disk has not been used for a while sometimes there is a slight lag before it responds when reading from the disk. However when writing to the disk it seems fast enough for any day-to-day PC use. All in all value for money for 8TB of space if paying around £130. I purchased this from Japan and had to pay an additional £25 import tax, so if you can buy from the UK. I personally don't think spending a lot more money for the 7200rpm drive will get any real sense of extra speed if you use your PC for day-to-day office applications or watching a movie file. I would recommend this disk especially if using it as archive storage. I've only had ...

    Large storage does what it does not fast but great for storage and games that do not need an SSD.
