    Bought this as a gift for someone but did try it out. I think it will be a bit short for my friend and the trap is difficult to stop dropping before you want it to. I think you have to trap the spider with it upside down and then turn it 180 degrees so the trap drops but whether you can do this without losing your prey I'm not sure

    Useful, value for money spider catcher.

    I already have a similar spider catcher for myself which has been very useful over the years. I bought the pink one for my daughter who has moved into her own property and we know it will be just as useful for her. The catcher is reasonably easy to use and the extra long handle will be useful for harder to reach places.

    Adequate

    It was no longer than the one I had purchased a long time ago but sufficient. It does the job anyway ;but if a bit longer, my daughter would feel a lot happier! I wouldn't say good value as quite expensive for what it is - I would imagine it would break fairly easily so have to be extra careful where it is kept.

    Arms length

    I've used these catchas for years, they are simple to use, keep spiders at arm length so you can cope with catching them. All you have to do is open the catcher place it over the sider and turn the handle so the catcher closes. Remember to keep it that way up so the trap door stays closed, then dispatch of the spider, easy!

    The quality is a bit naff but for the price you cant expect much! It arrived on time and is as described just looks like someone has previously used it because the connectors are slightly lighter and bent out.

    Invaluable

    I have had one of these spider catchers for years and purchased this one to have another one handy upstairs. It not only catches spiders and a nice arms length, but also catches flies and other insects. The crystal clear container at the end of the handle ensures that insects and spiders don’t see that they are about to be captured. The handle comes apart so you can use different lengths depending on what you need. It is super easy to slide the lid closed, and release the critter safely outside where they should be. It is a brilliant idea - elegant simplicity!
