    This lens's specs as many will know is made by almost every manufacturer and is the most popular lens used by most pro's due to the coverage from really wide to short telephoto at a constant 2.8 I have read professional reviews who say it's soft at 2.8 and still soft at the edges at 5.6 but I am unsure if they are viewing images in raw or maybe at 3 foot square because once loaded onto Lightroom including my presets that are applied on import the images look at least as sharp as any I took with other lenses. If there is a negative (although not for me really) The lens is surprisingly heavy. On my Nikon D610 which itself isn't a lightweight body this lens will give you some arm ache until you're used to it. personally I love the weight, you can never forget you are holding a camera ...
