    It still takes time, planning and work, but this tool speeds things up and is FUN

    The Treat & Train is a tool to help train your dog(s). It definitely helps and speeds up the process of your dog learning, but it takes time, planning, calm, and commitment - all of which owning a dog requires anyway, but people seem to think that TRAINING a dog is not going to take MORE of those characteristics. The supporting documentation is excellent and worth keeping handy as you design your plan for a few days at a time. The videos are helpful, but they make it seem that it is a speedy process and it will take more than 10 days in actuality to really see that your dog (and you) are "getting" it!

    Pretty darn great for training

    It took a bit of messing with settings and channels until I had it working the way I wanted. Other than being loud, it delivers treats remotely for training distance. Yay! Now on the hunt for a kibble that won't jam... I wish the "newer" models still had the AC adapter option like the original Sharper Image version. I do hope my brother and I can adapt it. Batteries are great when outside, but a plug is often more efficient indoors.

    So many possibilities!

    This product is great. I initially bought it so I could remotely reward my human-fearful dog when people come over to my home and she stays calm. We keep her behind a barrier initially so this thing definitely comes in handy. But we’ve also been using it for lots of other things— it can help you teach or polish your dog’s retrieve, down-stay, etc. This item is in great shape and shipped promptly. Love it!
