Not as I thought it would be
It does spin at a high speed when ur not applying any pressure. If you apply the slight amount of pressure to scrub it either slows down and/or stops spinning. Also when dipped in water or soap to begin cleaning it literally shoots all contents applied off. If it cleaning pans or dishes in standing water works ok. But if ur dipping it and cleaning something like stove top or oven door( things u cant saturate in water) it flings everything off of the pad making the pad 100% dry. So it is not ideal for scrubbing things u can not saturate with standing water. I wouldn't recommend d buying one at the price of $50 in which I paid... but i would consider buying at more of a reasonable price of $20-$30 being u have to use this item in something like a sink full of water.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Handy little small job cleaner/polisher. I like mine.
This small cleaner/polisher is the cat's meow for smaller jobs and where electric power is not available or inconvenient to use. At 4 volts input, the motor is not powerful enough to keep the speed up if you press down much while it's working, but if you apply just enough pressure in addition to the weight of the motor and guide it back and forth on your workpiece (similar to using a floor buffer), this machine will do the job. I used it on my John Deere 125 lawn tractor. Along with the disappearing grit cream polish I used, I got a like new finish back on the tractor very quickly. Just Okay
The cost is high. No container for the tool or pads. Just a plastic wrapping. No extra pads. For that amt. of money they should give you extra. Pads wear out fast - not the brush. With splash shield it does not work too good, gets stuck. Without splash guard - it splashes.
