The 2008 album, Raise the Dead is Phantom Planet's fourth full-length collection, following 1998's highly-praised Phantom Planet Is Missing. The Guest album from 2002 included the now-classic "California," known far and wide as the theme song to Fox's the O.C. and 2004's Phantom Planet. The album mixes the band's sixties Pop influence with a modern slant that is extremely refreshing in the increasingly homogenous musical landscape. Phantom Planet is Alex Greenwald - lead vocals, guitar, Sam Farrar - bass guitar, backing vocals, Darren Robinson - guitar, backing vocals and Jeff Conrad - drums.
