    Outstanding CD Player

    The Cambridge Audio Topaz CD5 CD Player is of solid construction, and is easy to use, with an uncomplicated layout on the player, as well as the remote control. The sound quality is of a high standard, and reproduces faithfully. I am extremely pleased with this CD player, which is by far, the best I have owned.

    noisy and clunky controls

    it has a very noisy motor. controls are slow to respond eg there is a 30 second wait when the draw is opened, although 30 secs isn`t the end of the word it ought to be instant. the sound is spoiled on low power because the noisy motor can be heard !! The sound is not as good as the "Cambridge" player it was bought to replace, of which I paid only £20 !

    Cambridge topaz cd 5

    Arrived today, just set it up, sounds great solidly British build. Also it’s a nice slim design. My old CD player was playing up so I decided to give Cambridge a go, so far very well pleased. Ten stars.

    Hifi cd unit

    This was a fantastic price considering it looks brand new- I bought it to replace a similar 20 year old Cambridge Audio model that had stopped working. At £60 it was cheaper than getting old one repaired! Excellent - highly recommended
