    Very pleasantly surprised

    Fantastic sound quality, very clear and precise. No lack of bass either, plenty to upset the neighbours. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the satellite speakers and they are a bit bigger than I had been expecting but I like, a bonus you could say. Another thing that was bigger than expected is the bass speaker. I hadn`t realised that it`s a 30cm speaker, in a box of the right weight, it`s not going to shake it`s self about. It comes with plenty of wire to set it all out and depending on room size and shape could be enough for some people. I`m using mine as television sound, connected via one of the digital optical inputs leaving another for the blue ray. I`m a happy customer.

    THX certified with incredible sound

    Incredible sound, certainly earned the THX (Sound standard set by the company that gave you Star Wars.) certification it was given. Don't turn the bass up full, the sub will handle it, but, the bass is so powerful you'll get complaints from the neighbours! The setup is really easy and you should be up and running relatively quickly. I will say, however, that you must assess the size and shape of your room before you buy. I thought the rear cables, at 7.6m in length, would be long enough, but, and only due to the shape of my room, they turned out not to be so I had to rush out and buy some that were. Once that was sorted it was plain sailing. Provided all the cables check out I can highly recommend these speakers.

    Excellent speakers Missing one key functionality

    I bought these speakers after testing a few unbranded ones in the past and then the z506 from logitech. I would not go into the technical details about frequencies and wattage as there are plenty of resources out on google to check the specs. The sound quality is overall good with deep bass and clear mid tones. It lacks treble however as there are no tweeters on the satellite speakers which is a shame as many basic speaker systems have them. The remote is very basic which lets the user adjust volume, inputs and individual levels for all speakers as well as some useless effects to select 2.1, 4 and full 5.1 channel model. It has plenty of input options so they should be compatible with most devices. My main grudge is lack of bluetooth functionality which should be expected for this price ...

    The build quality is very high. The sound quality is very very good. Suitable for the living room with blu ray movies and for your gaming room. Avatar sounded amazing on blu ray and rise of the tomb raider on games sounded great in surround sound. When set to fake surround for music the arctic monkeys sounded amazing.
