    Agnostic

    Despite the fact that Tolle is a snake oil salesman he has inadvertently found what is likely reality. If you are like me agnostic at best you will find yourself listening to this over and over. As a non believer in conventional religions I came to understand why bible thumpers read the bible on a daily basis. These tapes will improve your life even if you remain an atheist after listening to them. I highly recommend his readings

    Help with moving beyond the ego.

    This book is all about escaping the traps continually being set by the ego, and thereby living a more meaningful and enjoyable life. This is done through acceptance, living in the present, living joyfully, living with enthusiasm, etc. Tolle's many insights and observations, as expressed here, are profound, and ideally should be absorbed and applied gradually. They have the potential of making an incredibly positive impact on ones life. Repeated listening is helpful in achieving greater understanding. and ultimately in moving beyond the ego. Becoming aware of the ego's dominance is the first and most vital step.
