The only revolver speed loaders that I use.
I have used this brand of speed loader exclusively for my revolvers in 38spl, 357mag and 44 mag. They are the only ones I trust to function perfectly every time that I use them. Difficult in locking in ammo load
I had difficulty locking a full load into the device. The only way I could secure it was pushing in on the ammo and then turning the lock. It released ok but loading and locking the ammo into the device took a little effort. Speed loaders are fairly fast and direct to reload into most cylinders. It is especially useful for those who suffer from painful finger movements and need a little help. Speed loaders are easy to use and do not require a great deal of experience to use. It is a good value for the price and should last a long time given enough care with a good protective case or pouch. The Perfect Speed Loader!
These speedloaders are lightweight, very tough and strong, easy to manipulate / operate, and work very well even in adverse conditions. I can use these without even looking at what I am doing, allowing be to keep my eyes on the target and not have to focus on making the speedloader work correctly (as I have had to do with other brands of speedloaders in the past!). In the auto loader age it seems the double action revolver has taken a back seat in the combat potential era. Six for sure has given way to the 15 at a time auto loader. These HKS speed loaders narrow the reload gap. Light and reliable they allow the wheel man a great alternative to the empty at six reload option. Own several and they all function well
These are great - durable/dependable and much quicker/easier than conventional finger loading. The only times I do not like using them: 1. when belt or pocket space is limited (they are round and somewhat bulky), or 2. sometimes target grips block cylinder access, making them impractical. Wicked awesome speedloaders
HSK is the best revolver speed loaders I've found. From my first 44 mag Colt Anaconda over 20 years ago to these 38/357 for my EAA snub nose, I have never had any issues. My originals from the 1990's still work great, so I expect these will last a very long time as well.. They are a bit stiff when new, but after a bit of use, they smooth right out. HKD speedloader
I tried several other brands and the HKS is best. It is the easiest to load and works the best reloading the revolvers. The A36 works great with my S&W bodyguard and M36 5 shot as well as my Ruger 5 shot 357 stub nose. The other brands interfere with the grip or handle where as with the HKS, just turn the knob and the shells fall right into the revolver.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
