      Deeply Impactful & Interesting

      From start to finish, Peter Wohlleben's writing is spell-binding. So many books I read that incorporate scientific studies and facts are boring, reading like a text-book; Wohllenben was able to write in a way that uplifts you and add some humor, but still manages not to diminish fact. The voice in his book is very good. From the first pages, I was hooked. The way he personified trees to create a different perception and backed it up with his experiences, careful observations, and scientific studies is unique and compelling. We can learn a lot from trees, I've learned. "A tree can only be as strong as the forest that surrounds it." I highly recommend this book and author.

      The Hidden Life of Trees

      This book is amazing. Things you never knew and there is always something to learn. The author has spent many years devoted to the trees and their communications. You will never look at a tree the same way after reading this great work.

      Compelling information

      This is by far the most marvelous book on the workings of nature that I have ever read. I was trained as a naturalist with the National Park Service, but this level of information was not included. I wish I were young enough to teach from this book! All of his books are great, but this is #I for me.

      The book has a fascinating perspective. So many insights into trees ... as a landscaper I appreciate trees even more and their deep sensitivity gives me more of a sense of calm. An amazing book that I recommend for anyone interested in nature!
