This film drama follows Catholic war profiteer Oskar Schindler, played by Liam Neeson, who risked his life and finances during the Holocaust to save over 1,000 Jews from extermination in Nazi concentration camps. "Schindler's List" famously achieves its lasting power not by concentrating just on Schindler and his motivations but by exploring the depth of determination, courage, and tight-rope diplomacy that was required of him and his helpers to carry out his good deeds. This sometimes tense and always touching drama also stars Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, Caroline Goodall, and Jonathan Segal. The DVD is formatted for widescreen and includes special features such as enhanced sound and picture, behind-the-scenes features, and biographical footage of the historical figures behind the story.     Schlindler's List, World History changed in short time.

    This movie has been rated very high by professional movie makers and hollywood-in-general. But it is very engaging especially if one has any interest in history of the world. This story is a great example of world history that we all need to remember and learn about to prevent us all from allowing it to ever start again. I don't recommend it for young children unless accompanied by adults through the entire movie.
