    Does everything right.

    I've had my toaster about a month now and had the opportunity to try all the features. Regular toasting is excellent. The same settings produce equally browned toast on both sides. Several batches in a row come out the same, too. The bagel feature works well, and it's great for reheating O'CHARLEY'S rolls.☺ The defrost toasts frozen bread to the same doneness as thawed bread at that setting. Reheat is especially handy if you are interrupted at breakfast, but don't reheat buttered toast. I had a Calphalon toaster that was much more expensive, but the Krups is far superior.

    Too much for too little

    You can but toasters for much less and that perform much better than this one. After the first one or two uses, performance gradually worsened over the next few days so that ir was taking far too much time to produce a poor quality product---toast not evenly browned on both sides or, in some instances, toasted on only one side even when ser at the higher heat levels. I would ratye it even lower except that it looked good setting on my kitchen counter!

    It is not a lightweight piece of garbage,it is a well built toaster with great features .

    Because it is, This toaster does everything it says it will do ,and does it great. only downfall is I didn't get a cover for it , my fault .

    Toaster Issues

    Controls are two sensitive. One setting is to light move it to next 1/2 setting too dark. Doesn't heat (cook) evenly. Slots are not deep enough for a good slice of bread so does not entire surface consistently.

    Works fine - it toasts!

    Had it only for 2 weeks. Feels like any other toaster. Nothing to rave about, but no major complaints either! It is too shiny for my taste - would have preferred by duller (frosted?) stainless steel finish.
