      Hayward spider gasket

      I replaced 2 spider gaskets in my filters. Very easy because of precise fit. Being in the business I often change the working parts of pumps and filters. This was a very easy replacement. The actual unit is made by American Products but Hayward's has the original design and the Hayward parts seem to be the best. The best is always the cheapest even though it costs more.       Too small

      The gasket was ordered according to model and make. However, it was about 1/4" to small in diameter. I tried to make it work with gasket material, but it was simply lacking in outside diameter.
