    My favorite pickup set

    I feel like Duncan made these for me. That's how much I like them. What I did is watch YouTube videos that compare pickup brands such as EMG and Dimarzio. I enjoy Duncan's the most. Then I listened to all of the Duncan pickups and thought the Distortion was the best. I've tried, and compared other pickups enough times to know that this one does it for me. You might try this approach to find the brand and specific pickup you like.

    Power, sustain, and crunch forever!

    Can never go wrong with Seymour Duncan! Been using SD for last 20 years and never been disappointed at all. Highest quality Great price.     Great screaming pickups for metal and heavy rock.

    Awesome pick-ups for heavy rock and metal. They sound great. Well made and they are suited for harmonics, screaming solos, and dive-bombs. It is a great set for both lead and rhythm. You can get some clean sounds out of them, but they are designed for distortion, and lots of it!!! These Seymour Duncan Mayhem pick-ups simply rock.

    I prefer these to the more modern offerings from seymour duncan

    This is my favorite pickup set. Even more so than the more modern offerings like the black winter, nazgul etc... They excel at thrash and chuggy style metal. Super tight, hot, just all around great. The neck is surprisingly good for cleans considering how hot it is. Get you a set!!!

    These Seymour Duncan pickups ARE INCREDIBLE/AWESOME!! THEY ARE THE BEST PICKUPS I've ever had. I put them on my EPIPHONE Les Paul and compared it to a Gibson Les Paul And the EPIPHONE sounded a little better BUT THEY HAD LESS HUM!! I LOVE THESE PICKUPS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!
