Product Information
Four old retired friends become bored with sitting and rocking on their front porches. They decide to get together and play a game of cards called bouree. As the seasons pass they move around until finally they are playing cards under a big tree by the Mississippi River. That is fine until it starts to rain, so the men build a frame and nail a tarp on top of it. That works until the rain becomes a downpour, so the men add a floor and a roof. That is fine until the cold winds begin to blow through, so the men add walls with window and door holes. Their little house is much admired but when spring arrives, the men want to be outdoors. They bring a plastic table and chairs and enjoy themselves so much, they never go back inside to play cards.
