TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
 
1) DAMAGED ITEMS/ WRONGFULLY PURCHASE ITEMS
 
A) All Hornet articles are in brand new condition and in almost every instance will arrive to you in such condition. All items are finished in a coating of black paint for additional protection. Upon dispatch they are thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and packaged in a cardboard box for added protection. However, despite this and due to the nature of the items and the nature of couriers there are rare instances where the items may become damaged in transit. In some instances there may be slight imperfections or scratches to the paint, as this is a purely cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance or application of the exhaust in any way, we do not constitute this as a reason for return. If the item arrives seriously damaged then please contact us immediately and we will sort out a replacement item ASAP.
 
B) In instances where the wrong part has been ordered and you have attempted to fit the exhaust to the car we will not be able to accept the return. If you are unsure whether a specific item will fit your car then please check with us prior to purchasing and we can confirm whether the exhaust will fit.
 
2) DISPATCH/ DELIVERY TIMES
 
A) Most items are dispatched next day when ordered before 11:59pm. However, occasionally when the “3 day courier” option is selected, we may withhold the item for an additional day and then send the item out on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service. The item will still get to you in the same time, it may just be dispatched a day later.
 
B) We cannot pass on delivery-specific information to our couriers. When purchasing the item if you leave your phone number or email address a text or email will be sent to you upon dispatch containing your delivery information. From here, you can track your delivery and also select items such as leaving the item with a neighbour or leaving the item in a safe place in case you are not able to receive your item.
 
C) Once the item has been dispatched we will not be able to change the delivery address without incurring an additional delivery charge. If you wish to change the address after the item has been dispatched we may be able to do so, however the fee will have to be paid by the purchaser.
 
D) Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our parcels that for some postcodes in Scotland there may be an additional charge to the postage cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you're unsure whether you may be effected by this.
 
3) GENERAL INFORMATION
 
A) If you are planning work on your car we recommend that you wait until you receive your item to make sure that you are 100% happy with the item and happy that it will fit your vehicle before you begin any work. We cannot be held accountable for any financial loss if you book your car into a garage and the item doesn’t fit your car.
 
B) With our universal exhausts please be aware that they are not designed as a direct fit for any car and therefore may require additional parts or modification. We ideally recommend that your exhaust is fitted by a fully qualified mechanic.
 
C) All of our exhausts are sports/performance exhausts and should be treated as such. This means that you will notice an increase in noise from your vehicle which can vary depending on the vehicle you have. We cannot accept returns if you consider the exhaust “too loud” for your vehicle.
 
D) Our exhausts have been developed mainly for race and competition use. As such, they have not been emissions and decibel tested for road use. In most circumstances, the exhaust will be fine as long as used in conjunction with an additional silencer such as your existing centre silencer. However, we can offer no guarantee that the car will pass an MOT.
 
E) Please note that when replacing your original exhaust with an aftermarket or performance exhaust part that your fuel economy may be affected.

    Universal 2" silencer

    First impression out of the box, neatly welded on outer pipes and inner perforated pipe, strong design and very small. Internal perforated pipe remains the same diameter as the external therefore no restriction of exhaust gasses. I fitted a straight through de-cat system with backbox only and was far too loud, I fitted this silencer right before the rear axle bend, the exhaust sounds perfect, deep burble on idol, smooth and subtle cruising and a still easily loud enough when you open the taps. Excellent product for the price. Perfect for the tuner/enthusiast that wants to keep the sound and performance but doesn't want to pi#s the neighbours off. 10/10

    good solid product

    Put onto my Citroen c2 as the hornet back box i got from these people was a little loud due to the c2 only having a straight through pipe to the back box put this on and yep did its job sounded better with this silencer on.
