Working so good.
I bought it to use it with my Glidecam HD-2000 and is working good after making a hole bigger on the glidecam plate. One thing that I like is that I can put my camera on my Manfrotto 500AH Fluid Head and on the Glidecam, with the same quick release plate. Solid, good material. :)

Not compatible but can be modified to work.
This product is advertised as being compatible with the manfrotto 501 HDV. IT IS NOT! To use a manfrotto plate with the product's base, the release button on the base must be removed. To use the product's mounting plate with a 501 HDV, one must do a considerable amount of filing and sanding on the aluminum sides of the plate. I chose to make these modifications and keep the product because it was quite a bit less expensive than the manfrotto original.This product is advertised as being compatible with the manfrotto 501 HDV. IT IS NOT! To use a manfrotto plate with the product's base, the release button on the base must be removed. To use the product's mounting plate with a 501 HDV, one must do a considerable amount of filing and sanding on the aluminum sides of the plate.
