Not the best quality
I bought this item for a specific purpose and to be fair it achieved that so I can't complain. However coming from an engineering background I have probably been spoilt by using top quality tools. These are not the greatest quality (hence 4*) but for the price if you need a tiny tap you can't go wrong.

A saving grace to find anything so small...
Being so small the taps are very fragile and so far I have only attempted to use one to clear a thread. The Screw Plate is a nice tidy way of collecting all threads onto one lump. Individual dies get harder to handle and identify. I wish there was some more information on the threads provided. For example I have been using them for repairing watches and watch makers talk about Tap 6, Tap 10 etc. I am told these are not strictly ISO threads but a Swiss standard. When you research metric pitches below 2mm there seems to be no clarity of standards, e.g. there is American, Swiss and Japanese to name just three. Beggars can't be choosers and these taps are the nearest you may get for such a reasonable price.Being so small the taps are very fragile and so far I have only attempted to use one to clear a thread. Tap and die set
I use it for jewellery restoration so I’m using it on soft metal as in gold platinum etc which it’s very good at but on harder metals I would not recommend it as it’s not the best quality but is value for money
