This is the place to buy shellac flacks. Prompt shipping and the flacks are truly that, flacks. I purchased from another, slightly cheaper seller on eBay and got mostly nuggets which were hard to dissolve and had to be ground up in a coffee grinder. Wellermart has quality dewaxed flacks.

No fuss, no muss. Good shellac flakes.
These shellac flakes dissolved well according to the mixing instructions from WellerMart. I used Klean Strip Green denatured alcohol, gradually stirred in the prescribed amount of flakes for a 2# cut, did no pre-grinding of the flakes before mixing, then shook the mixture in a sealed jar. The flakes were visibly dissolved after about 8 hrs--shaking every hour or so. I used the mix the next day and it brushed out very evenly through the three coats I applied to a pine box I had built. I used a cheap hake brush, which held a decent amount of shellac to allow long even brush strokes. It buffed out silkily smoothly with 0 steel wool and paste wax. No clumps. It handled exactly as I expected. It barely tinted the long grain surfaces, but it made the end grain stand out nicely on my dovetails.These shellac flakes dissolved well according to the mixing instructions from WellerMart. The flakes let me mix the shellac when I need it and in the quantity that I need instead of buying at the big box store in a can. I get fresh shellac and use it just as soon as I get it mixed and strained. This is one of the best things that I could have bought for my woodworking hobby and will buy again soon. It makes it easier to get a finish that really pops on my projects. I can not tell how old the shellac is in the can but when I mix it I know. Due to dry time, I strongly prefer shellac over polyurethane.
