Great if you understand the Food Optimising system
I bought this as a guide so I could help my learning-disabled adult daughter lose weight while still being able to enjoy tasty food. It is less helpful than some books since it measures food values in "syns" and a Food Optimising code, which I don't understand, having never been to a Slimming World session. There is some explanation of this system in the book but at first glance it doesn't make much sense. This recipe book is fantastic, easy to follow recipes that all my family enjoy. Haven’t had the book long but I’m so glad I ordered it. Looking forward to trying more. The cottage pie is a massive favourite already.
