    Bright white light

    Simple to fit replacement bulb. Unscrew the lamp housing, unscrew the silver knurled ring, take out the old bulb and put in the new LED unit. Replace knurled ring and lamp housing. What could be easier? You get a bright white light and your batteries last a lot longer!

    OK, good output, LED Off centre, a bit too expensive.

    Perfect fit. As far as I can appreciate it, it's about 250-300lm comparing it to my Nitecore MH10S in mid level (300lm) .Unfortunately the LED is off centre (as it often is in cheap flash lights) so the beam will be off, not focused very well. It's no more than OK, luminus flux is good, with 3 D cells it will probably last forever, LED off centre. A bit too expensive compared to its shorcomings

    Mag lite Led bulb

    Very bright led upgrade from original bulb, keeps the same features as in beam focus etc, just much brighter and I would think the batteries will last much longer. Win win

    Perfectly brilliant replacement!

    I've loved using my Maglite over the years and have always looked after it. Alas, I put it on a portable table and somebody knocked the legs away and it fell on the floor. Looking for a replacement bulb I realised that I could upgrade to and LED bulb. It may not be cheap, but it turned up quickly and was simple to fit. I haven't had a chance to test it properly yet, but I'm confident that it will be great at night.

    Life in the old dog yet

    Bought to upgrade my old d cell Maglite that had been unused for years. What a difference! Far outshines (pun intended) the stock incandescent bulb, (which was the only thing that let a great torch down). A little pricey, but should pay for itself in years to come with increased battery life. Recommended.
