Initially I had a tough time trying to figure out how to sync the printer with my computer. I thought because I was trying to use the Wi-Fi feature that the Wi-Fi connection would come from my computer. I just happen to look at the screen on the printer and discovered that's where the setup was to be made. After discovering messages on the printer the rest of the set up was smooth sailing. I would have liked the message screen on the printed up to be larger. For us older folks it's hard to read. So far I have used the copier feature, the scan feature and the printer feature. All have worked just fine. Having the printer come with ink included was the greatest sell item.

It was easy to set-up and works very well for the price but however the ink cartridges are horribly over priced, a black XL and a color XL are just about the price of the printer. I think that is for all printers lately all prices have gone up. There is one thing I don't like about the printer is that you have to put all the same size paper in the paper feed or it jams up, found that out the hard way. Haven't tried scanning anything to my computer yet. I over-all like it but the original cartridges you get with the printer are very small. I would recommend it to friends if they are rich enough to buy spare cartridges.

Great printer for the price does a nice print job. Still haven't found how to print in "draft" mode to extend the life of printer cartridges, no place in setting on the printer itself, printer settings on laptop. It's probably a ploy to have to order cartridges more often, but do get about 200 pages b&w and 125 color. That will nearly double with the extra life cartridges I ordered. It is a larger printer than other models, and does not have a fax feature, but if that is not an issue, this printer is the one for you for wireless or wired printing.

Set up by the directions provided seemed so complicated. But, when I went to the web site and did a download and followed the prompts, it was all done with ease in just a few minutes. I set it up on desktop with USB connection but also for in house wireless for Apple iPad and DELL Tablet. It will work with my smart phone also but have not tried that yet. It runs smooth and quiet. Easy to load print ink. Photo paper ran through with no issues and high quality print. I wish that it had an SD card reader for my camera as my old picture files were with HP software. This too is easily overcome with transfers to other APPS. Very good printer for the cost.

I am 67 y/o and electronically challenged. I've never had a printer so easy to set up. In less than 20 minutes I was printing off items from my iPad. The printer is so much quieter and faster than my last HP. I especially like the way it goes to sleep when not in use, then responds quickly when needed. The quality of the print is clean and clear on both documents and photos.
