The Sante Fe 2 Teryllium is one of about 6 models Scotty Cameron produced with his Teryllium insert. In comparison to other "insert" putters like the Odyssey White Hot, or perhaps something like the Bobby Grace HSM insert, the teryllium doesn't "wash out" all of the feel of the ball striking the club face. Because the insert is an allow and not some softer polymer, you do get a striking sensation. Just enough, in my opinion. The softer polymers, in an attempt to create a putter for the player who struggles with their speed control, uses such a soft insert I don't think you get any feedback. Feedback is so critical in golf-did the strike feel solid, did the putt roll the distance I expected, etc. As with any carbon steel putter with a black oxide finish, you do need to take care of the putter in a meticulous manner. However, I believe the putter is worth it. Make sure you keep a silicon oil cloth handy to wipe the putter off after each round. If you play in the rain or wet conditions, do not put the putter back in a wet cover. Keep an extra cheap cover to put on the head after it gets wet. WD-40 has in the past made an oil "pen" that's easy to keep in your bag for these critical times. Overall, I highly recommend this model of putter. Because of the neck configuration, it's not for everyone. If you tend to be a straight back, straight thru type of putter, you probably need something closer to a mallet or perhaps the Scotty Cameron Newport.Read full review
I like the fact that it was a very clean putter. No dings or noticeable scratches. I like the fact that if I wanted to sell it myself I could and would not have to take drastic measures in order to make it sell. I like the style of this particular Scotty Cameron and have been looking for one like this for a long time. I decided to buy it because I thought that it was a great deal. I hope to be able to find more of these putters. It is nice to know that they are out there and that there are people that are willing to part with them.
Fell better than others. easy to use and good feel to hit ball ~

Great lines. A classic putter. Face balanced makes the putter really perform well for those who have a square to square putting stroke. The "face stamped" crown on the putter makes it slightly more valueable than a regular TeI3, although not as valueable as a "sole stamped" version. The copper in-lay really adds nice feel to the putter. the down side of this putter is that the finish is very high maintenence and must be oiled regularly to prevent rust.
Very nice looking, great feel. A true classic. So far it's my favorite Cameron of all time. A little pricey but it's worth it if you can find one in good shape. Since I'm a lefty it was even harder to fine one. It's nice to have a classic Newport again when compared to the latest Newport's this one rules by far.
