A fairly good story, the true villain was fairly obvious part way through the book. Certainly I felt the Texas heat, but there are other Lee Child books I prefer to this one. His writing has improved in the later books.

Definitely one of the Lee Child's better Jack Reacher stories.
One of the Jack Reacher series that I seemed unable to find in the shops so this was an excellent way to buy it. Definitely one of the better Lee Child books.
