    A great recipe book

    My mum bought me this many years ago and I lost it some how so I was so pleased to be able to purchase it. It was in excellent condition. There are so many tasty cakes plus other recipes to try from soups to family meals. It caters for any occasion. Try the dark ginger cake for instance very yummy my friends loved it. Going to make the Toddy cake today which contains whisky. Enjoy the recipe book if you buy it.

    I bought a copy of this book over 40 years ago and it has been in constant use ever since. The recipes are simple, straightforward and reliable. The condition of my original book is somewhat tattered now, so, I thought I would treat myself to a nice new one. Very highly recommended.

    I'd had and used this cookery book for about 20 years. When I moved home two years ago it got lost. I couldn't believe it when I saw one on e bay and ordered it immediately. I was delighted when it arrived especially as it was pristine, my old one was rather worn after many years of use

    Can’t go wrong!!!!

    Had this book 40 odd years ago and it has amazing recipes in it - tasty but not TOO complicated!!!!! You can find anything you want to make in there- I’m not a great cook but using this recipe book makes every thing so easy!

    A great staple in the cookbook department!

    This is a great family cookbook with recipes which even your children can have a go at. There are lots of excellent pictures which give you an idea of what your finished dish should look like and the step by step instructions are very clear.
