As previously noted, I highly recommend this seller because all items I have bought have always arrived in pristine condition, well packaged, in very good, and at times, better appearance than described so excellent value with very good quality service and books. Moreover, communication via email is excellent as I was informed every stage of the posting and expected delivery process.

The books arrived quiclkly and well packaged, the condition wasn't quite as described, but following communication with the seller, a satisfactory result was achieved. Have bought from this seller before on numerous occasions and this was the first issue I have had. Always good value and very efficient.

  • It had a beginning, a middle and an end - set during the Spanish civil war - and there was nothing civil about it...!

Nearly a century ago, Hemingway changed the way such novels were written - so yes, read his books while remembering that his writings were then so inovative and new that they created a huge cult following of immatators, who then done to death this new, revolutionary writing style so that in a few short years, they became 'old hat'...! So I can add very little now - very little...!

  • Value for money

Arrived in good order and although obviously well used, still very cheap.

  • Hemingway's famous novel

possibly the worst book I've ever read! The love-making scene involving the main characters is laughable- like something out of 'Monty Python'!

  • Just a great story

Very glad I've read it - great historical setting, set in historical events, romance as well.
