    Perfect WYSIWYG and quick delivery

    If you buy this motor, with extra long leads, and watch the YouTube instructions its an easy job. When you take the black rubber locator off the spindle side be careful so that you know which locator holes to use on the new motor as their are three pairs of holes.

    A cheap motor but I think there is some ambiguity in the discription , in one place it says there is a TOC and in another it says. no TOC. confusing !

    Some alternative products may state that the motor TOC is “self-resetting”. This is potentially dangerous, as a self-resetting TOC means that it can restart automatically after the motor has cooled down. It is possible that the user might be cleaning the machine whilst it is cooling down, with dangerous consequences if it is still connected to the mains. The TOC used in this motor has a manual reset, which means that the motor can only be restarted by operating the on-off switch.

    Excellent value for money !

    Quality and price of this motor cant be beaten ! Not convinced the extra long leads are a good idea as the extra length meant that as the motor was slid back into its plastic housing, the leads and connectors kept getting trapped under the spindle end of the motor, and had to be "jiggled" out of the way as the motor was pushed home. When experimenting with putting the old motor back, the shorter leads, whilst slightly more difficult to connect, didnt suffer the same issue.

    Replacement motor

    I ordered this motor to replace the one in my Dyson. I was concerned on receipt as it looked different from the original. After a couple of hiccups trying to make contact the supplier was very helpful & confirmed that while of different appearance it was compatible. With assistance from a utube video I changed the motor successfully saving a replacement cost of £300!

    well pleased with the purchase.

    the motor had longer connecting leads which made it easier to assemble into the casing. motor ran very well and powered up very good. only time will tell about the life outlook but well pleased. couldn't find anything bad about the quality.
