    performance for Audio applications is unequaled.

    Used these tubes in a CB radio. (Gemtronixs GTX 5000)The radio uses one of these tubes for audio out, and another for RF out. Performance for Audio is unequaled. performance for RF output is poor compared to a 6BQ5 although the tube may not be designed for that application. Audio circuits, the tube has more modulation, and cleaner audio. Highly recommended.

    A great tube set

    The Sovtek el84 is nice and warm, making it great for all tones. Have it installed in my orange amp, and I can hear a difference. Did use jj electronic tubes, for a while, and they were very good , but wanted to experiment with something more. Definitely buying again, no doubt about that
